The list of misdemeanour is divided into group A and B. Details with action to be taken are given below:
Group A (Expulsion)
Damage, Defacing, Vandalism of School or Property or premises.
Carrying or consumption of Alcohol or drugs.
Willful behaviour leading to physical harm to others.
Group B (Suspension)
Truancy or unapproved absence from school without the parents' knowledge.
Leaving the school premises during school hours without the Principal’s permission.
Smoking in school uniform.
Chewing of gum, betel nut and tobacco.
Disobedience or Disrespect towards members of the school staff.
Use of hair gels, dyes, tattoos or such materials will lead to disciplinary measures. Boys must keep their hair short, trimmed and combed. Girls’ hair must be worn in two plaits. Girls should not trim their hair short except for serious health reasons advised by a doctor.
Habitual stealing.
Bringing mobile phones, cameras to school.
Using unfair means in an examination.
GENERAL RULES FOR THE STUDENTS
To acquire greater facility with the study of English, only English should be spoken in the school premises.
Students who are not present on the day of closing or re- opening, before or after the holidays break (Winter, Easter, Summer or Pooja) are liable to forfeit their seats.
The students must wear the prescribed uniform on all class days and school functions. The turnout should be clean and tidy. All students must come to school with a regular haircut.
If a student is absent for one or two days, the leave note should be presented by the student to the Principal before the morning assembly. If the student is absent for three days or more, the leave note is to be presented by the Parent or Guardian in person to the Principal.
Half Day Leave will be granted only on request to the Principal by the parents or guardian in person.
In case of prolonged illness, the School Authorities should be informed about the illness.
Absenteeism on medical grounds for three days or more must be supported by a Medical Certificate.
No students will be permitted to leave the School premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal/ Vice Principal.
Students, on their way to school and from school, are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner.
Students are not allowed to bring cell phones or cameras in the school premises.
Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. The school does not take any responsibility, in any case of damage or loss of the same.
