Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. AMEN .
HAIL MARY
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with you. Blessed art you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, AMEN.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF GOD
I am the Lord your God: you shall not have strange gods before me.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Remember that you keep holy the Sabbath day.
Honour your father and mother.
You shall not kill.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife.
You shall not covet your neighbour’s goods.
PRAYER BEFORE CLASS
O God, the source of all truth and wisdom, bless our work and study which we offer You. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our memories and direct our wills towards what is right. Enable us always to seek the truth, and make us truly wise. AMEN
PRAYER AFTER CLASS
O God, Infinite Wisdom, and the source of all knowledge, grant that we may remember what we have learned. AMEN.
PRAYER BEFORE EXAMINATION
O God, enlighten our minds, strengthen our memories, and bless us to do well, in the examination. Keep us healthy, in mind and body, all through our examinations. AMEN
PRAYER BEFORE MEAL
Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty. Through Christ our Lord. AMEN
PRAYER AFTER MEAL
We give you thanks, Almighty God, for all your benefits. You who live and reign forever and ever. AMEN.
